Terms of Service

Listojo is a venue where landlords, property managers, and individuals publish rental and property listings, and where renters find and contact them. We provide the platform. We are not a party to any rental transaction.

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
• Give accurate information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
• One person or business per account. Do not share or transfer your account.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

You must

• Have the legal right to list the property.
• Describe it accurately, including price, availability, size, and condition.
• Use photos of the actual property that you own or have permission to use.
• Keep listings current, and mark them rented, sold, or removed when no longer available.
• Comply with all applicable landlord-tenant, licensing, and advertising laws.

You must not

• Post a property that does not exist, is not available, or that you have no right to offer.
• Post bait listings, duplicate listings, or listings whose real purpose is to collect leads.
• Publish discriminatory preferences or restrictions. See section 4.
• Ask for deposits, application fees, or wire transfers before a prospective tenant has seen the property and signed an agreement.
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-copy listings, or use bots against the site.
• Post someone else's personal information, or content you do not have rights to.
• Use Listojo to spam, harass, defraud, or distribute malware.

You keep ownership of everything you post. You grant Listojo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, resize, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. The license ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups for a limited period.

We may remove or refuse any content at our discretion, particularly where it breaks these terms. We are not obligated to monitor content, and we do not verify listings before they appear.

Match scores, price estimates, walkability, transit, and bike scores are informational only. Some come from third parties, and we do not control or independently verify them. They are estimates, not guarantees, and should not be your only basis for a housing decision. Always visit a property and do your own diligence.

You can stop using Listojo at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently, or creates risk for other users. Where practical we will explain why and give you a chance to respond.

Listojo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that listers are who they claim to be, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that any listing will result in a rental.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Listojo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunities, arising from your use of the service or from dealings with anyone you meet through it. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top, and continued use after a change means you accept it. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
